Wild Beyond is a fast-paced, RTS-inspired PVP combat mobile game where players choose a faction, assemble a deck, and battle other players in real-time.

I served as a Senior Narrative Designer on the project.

I consulted early on the project to help with story development and was eventually brought on full-time to help design and write the game's campaign.

Because the game was on mobile, we suspected that most players wouldn't have the patience for a story heavy campaign, so we settled on an irreverant, humorous tone. The writing had to be economical but entertaining.

We drew a lot of inspiration from Advance Wars and NPC design from the Legend of Zelda series, choosing to create short but memorable encounters with the characters of the campaign.

All told, I wrote around 60 missions.
